Peter Lake is an award-winning and internationally performing crossover singer working on musical theatre and operatic stages alike.  As a child, Peter grew up in the beautiful and culturally rich city of Budapest, Hungary where he saw his first fully staged production of the Phantom of the Opera and knew his life would never be the same!  

 

Inspired by the power of live singing, Peter returned to the United States to pursue multiple degrees in Theatre and Voice.   After graduating, he spent years honing his craft and performing across the world in operas, oratorios, symphonic concerts, and recitals.  This included multiple appearances in Handel’s Messiah, Carmen, La traviata, and a recital tour through the most prestigious voice conservatories in China.  

 

Peter has remained an eclectic singer and currently enjoys a career performing regularly at sea with the cast of CATS, while simultaneously wowing audiences and critics in enduring operatic classics like Madama Butterfly while on land.   For Peter, it has long been a dream to record a Broadway album and he is overjoyed to finally make that dream come true.  This record marks the next milestone in his adventure and he is delighted that you have chosen to join him along the way!
